What is Futurowise and what kind of programs does it offer?
Futurowise is an online learning platform that teaches high school students the skills schools don't teach. Programs cover future-focused subjects including data science, finance and investing, financial modeling, prompt engineering, agentic AI, carbon credit trading, brand strategy, and digital marketing. All programs are short and intensive, running 2 to 4 weeks online, and are designed for students aged 14 and above.
What do students get when they complete a Futurowise program?
Every student who completes a Futurowise program receives four things: a verified certificate with a unique credential ID, a published project on the Futurowise platform, a real-world skill developed through expert-led sessions and hands-on assignments and Futurowise points which contribute towards a Futurowise diploma. The certificate and published project can be shared on LinkedIn and included in college applications.
What is the Futurowise Credit System?
Every Futurowise program a student completes earns points. Points build into credits, and credits build into a diploma. The conversion is simple: 30 points make 1 credit, and 6 credits make the Futurowise Diploma, which is 180 points in total. Points are calculated from a program's classroom hours, and the published project is worth a third of every program award. One point is equivalent to one notional learning hour, which is 30 hours per credit, in line with India's National Credit Framework.
How many programs does my child need for the Futurowise Diploma, and do points expire?
The Futurowise Diploma is 6 credits, or 180 points. That is roughly 10 programs of 6 classroom hours each, adding up to 60 classroom hours, 180 learning hours and 10 published projects. There is no time limit. Points are cumulative, they carry over indefinitely, and loose points below a full credit never reset at the end of a year. A student can take one program a term and still finish the diploma.
Who teaches at Futurowise?
Futurowise programs are led by industry experts, researchers, and professors from institutions including Fordham University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Techno India University, and IIT Hyderabad. Instructors bring active professional and academic experience directly relevant to each program.
What age group are Futurowise programs designed for? Do students need prior experience?
Futurowise programs are designed for students aged 14 and above. No prior experience is needed. Most programs are beginner-friendly, and instructors guide students step by step. If a course does need a certain skill level, it will be mentioned on the program page.
Does Futurowise offer a program on AI?
Yes. Build Your AI Project is a four-week one-on-one mentorship program for students aged 14 and above. Students build their own working AI agent using no-code tools, with no coding experience required, and finish with a published project and a certificate. Rolling admissions, start any time. How are Futurowise programs delivered?
Programs are delivered online through live, interactive sessions. Students engage directly with instructors and classmates, with assignments and project work built into each program.
How many students are in each cohort?
Cohorts are kept small so every student gets real attention, participation, and feedback. Exact size may vary slightly by program.
Will students receive feedback?
Yes. Instructors give feedback throughout the program, during live sessions, assignments, and project work.
Is there homework?
Yes. Most programs include assignments or project tasks between sessions. These help students apply what they've learned and are part of earning the certificate.
How do I register?
Select a program, complete the registration form, and make payment. You'll receive a confirmation email with all program details.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments can be made securely through the payment options available at checkout. Multiple payment options like Card, Netbanking, UPI are accepted.
Can parents monitor their child's progress?
Parents don't get a separate login, but instructors share progress and feedback with students directly. You're welcome to reach out to us anytime with questions about your child's progress.
How are Futurowise programs different from regular online courses?
Futurowise programs are live, cohort-based, and project-driven. Every program ends with a published project, not just a completion badge. Sessions are led by working experts and professors, cohort sizes are kept small for quality, and students receive individual feedback on their work. The focus is on doing, not just watching.
Will my child get to keep the recordings?
Yes! Most live sessions are recorded and shared with enrolled students so they can revisit the content anytime during the program.
How do we make sure students get the most out of the program?
To keep the experience interactive and high-quality, we ask students to attend at least 80% of live sessions and keep their cameras on. This is what makes the program genuinely transformative rather than just another online course.
What is the refund policy?
If you cancel before the program starts, you receive a 80% refund — we retain a 20% registration fee. Once the first session has been held, no refund is issued regardless of attendance. If Futurowise ever cancels a program, you receive a full 100% refund.
How do I request a refund?
Simply email info@futurowise.com with your full name, registered email, course name, and reason for cancellation. Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days.
What does my child need to get started?
Just a laptop or desktop, a stable internet connection, and a free Zoom account. No special software or prior knowledge needed.
How does my child earn their certificate?
By completing all assignments, attending at least 80% of live sessions, and participating in good faith. Every certificate comes with a unique credential ID that can be shared on LinkedIn or included in college applications.
Will student work be showcased publicly?
Yes, and that's a great thing! Completed projects get published on the Futurowise platform, giving students a real public portfolio piece. By enrolling, you agree that Futurowise may also use names, photos, and testimonials for educational and promotional purposes. You retain full ownership of your original work and can request removal of any published content at any time by writing to info@futurowise.com.
Is this useful for college applications?
Absolutely. The certificate, published project, and practical skills are directly relevant for college essays, scholarship applications, and interviews, especially for students applying to competitive programs abroad.
