Outcomes

✔ Learn how to find a customer, size a market, and build sales, operations and marketing plans.

✔ Build a complete business plan deck for your own idea or your family business, mentored one to one.

✔ Publish your business plan on Futurowise with a live link you can share on LinkedIn and applications.

✔ Apply your plan to the Diamond Challenge, Blue Ocean Student Entrepreneur Competition and the NFTE World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Overview

Before the program Students complete a short intake covering their interest, any existing idea or family business, and what they want to walk away with. The mentor plans the four weeks from this. Week 1 | Customer and idea Narrowing a broad interest into a specific business worth building. Identifying who the customer actually is, what problem they have, and what they currently do instead. Mentor feedback on the idea before anything else is built. Week 2 | Sales and operations How the business will actually make money. Pricing, the sales plan, and who buys first. Mapping operations: what gets made or delivered, by whom, at what cost. Week 3 | Marketing and numbers Positioning and the marketing plan. Where the first hundred customers come from. Building a simple set of numbers: costs, revenue, and what it takes to break even. Week 4 | The deck Turning four weeks of work into a business plan deck. Structuring the story, tightening each slide, and rehearsing the pitch with the mentor. After the program Students submit their deck for publishing and receive their certificate with a unique credential id. They walk away with a plan they can present to a competition, an investor, or their own family.

Why students choose Futurowise

Student Quote

The cohort size being small made the meetings very interactive which I really liked about this program. Moreover, I enjoyed researching for the project given to us, which were then very well evaluated and we were given valuable feedback about the real-world applicability.

I loved that we got to actually build and test our own AI agents instead of just learning about them theoretically. It was really fun seeing my idea turn into a working prototype. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends if want to learn how to build something themselves. It’s practical, interactive, and you get to leave with your own working agent.

Futurowise's Carbon Credit Trading program broke down complex concepts, from trading mechanics to sustainability regulations, and connected every idea to how real markets actually work. I left with a clear understanding of something most adults find difficult to explain.

One thing that truly stood out to me was our instructor’s attitude and support, as he made the environment feel like a safe space, encouraging each of us to speak out our thoughts, offering us frequent smiles and nods.
